Description : The Sinuous Wavelength Along The Length Of The Flag Recalls The Hill And Valley Areas Of Caterham. The Green And Yellow Colours Of This Wavelength Are Drawn From The Caterham Car Company Who Were Based In The Village And Give The Impression Of Racing Stripes. The Circle, Like A Motor Racing Number Decal, Recalls The Sun And On This Is Placed A Stylised Cedar Tree With Its Horizontal Layers Of Foliage. This Symbolises Caterham's Iconic Cedar Tree, Which Legend States Was Brought To The Community From Bethlehem.
