This Flag Came Into Use In :  1940.  

Description :  This Was To Be The Flag Of The New Finno - Karelia State That The Soviet Union Was Expecting After The Winter War Against Finland.  Unfortunately Finland Only Lost Part Of Its Territory To The Soviet Union, So The Idea Of A Greater Soviet Union Floundered.
